Guarantee Information
10 Year Wonderest GuaranteeFrom the date of purchase, the Wonderest 5/10 year guarantee covers the mattress and base against any defect that may occur in ordinary use, due to faulty workmanship or materials. This guarantee however, is subject to the conditions listed here:
- In the event that the bed is found to have a manufacturing fault, transport costs will be refunded.
- The item must be delivered to a Wonderest nominated transport depot.
- This guarantee does not extend to faults caused by willful or accidental abuse, misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by transportation.
- Every effort will be made to service the product with identical materials to those originally used. However, if identical materials are not available at the time of repair or replacement, the manufacturer reserves the right to substitute materials of equal quality.
- Wonderest reserves the right to refuse service and invalidate the guarantee when, upon inspection, the bed is found to be in an unsanitary condition, or when the product failure is caused by factors other than faulty workmanship or materials. Use of a mattress protector is advisable at all times. Failure to comply with manufacturers care and maintenance instructions may void your guarantee.
- An incorrect choice of mattress does not constitute a manufacturing fault. For example incorrect comfort choice, or incorrect mattress for body type etc.
- The use of a soft, sagging or non-supportive base or foundation with excessive gaps between slats or narrow tubing, which in Wonderest's opinion is not supportive, will negate the terms of this guarantee.
- It is important that legs are secured tightly in place at all times. It is not the responsibility of the manufacturer if loose legs cause damage to the leg and /or the base frame.
- Wonderest Manufacturing reserves the right to repair or replace either parts of the mattress or base or the entire mattress or base at its option.
- The guarantee registration form must be filled in and returned to Wonderest or you must be able to provide Wonderest with satisfactory proof of purchase. Failure to do so will render this guarantee void.
- In some cases, an inspection by a company representative or its agent at the location of the item may be necessary. For geographic reasons, this may take time.
- Any item returned to the factory for service, deemed by Wonderest to not have a manufacturing fault, will attract a service fee plus transport costs, regardless of the age of the item.
- The guarantee for mattresses with Bonnell and LFK technologies is limited to 5 years.
